YARRIAMBIACK Shire Council will continue to pressure Regional Roads Victoria and the state government to restore the shire’s C-Class roads.

The issue of road safety arose during the council meeting on Wednesday, where an update was provided following a motion to lobby Roads Minister Ben Carroll.

Councillor Andrew McLean said in Wednesday’s meeting the issue needed to be pressed with the state government.

“I think we need to make sure that this isn’t where it ends and that we continue to make sure our money is coming back into our shire and spent appropriately,” he said.
